Classroom Expectations

Behavior Expectations:We have high expectations for the students in our room.  We expect the students to achieve academically to their fullest potential.  In fact, our class motto is “Excellence is Expected!” We also expect students to contribute in a positive manner to our classroom.  The following is a list of rules for room 402.

1.    Show respect

2.    Make good decisions

3.    Solve problems in a productive manner 

4. Find a solution to the problem, do not invent an excuse.

We will be using the number system to help monitor these behaviors.  The number system will be coded in your son or daughter’s agenda daily.  Please acknowledge that you have viewed the code by initialing your child’s agenda daily.  The number code is as follows:

1-Student had a successful day.

2-Student had to be redirected and reminded of rules several times.

3- Student had to be removed from activity, or continues to be disruptive

4- Student received a discipline referral form
